Educational Activity
The master’s course at TMA aims for capacity building of environmental health professionals through extensive theoretical and practical activities such as analyzing heavy metals, organic compounds, inorganic compounds with using equipment like AAS, GC and UV spectrophotometer. Students will have the ability to measure and analyze contaminants in a variety of environments (water, soil, air). The major skills and knowledge that the students acquire in the two years course are here. Students will be required to have the following knowledge during their 1st year of education.
- Environmental Hygiene. Industrial Hygiene.
- Air quality analysis
- Water quality analysis
- Environmental and radiation safety
- Health and Environment Statistics
In addition to the knowledge and skills acquired in the first year of study in the 2nd year of study, master’s students also gain the skills and capabilities to measure and assessment of chemical and physical factors in in working as well as indoor environment. Also, to provide better learning space, KU-TMA education platform has been created where the registered students can study from a wide range of course.
